Design AV Europe - Incorporating Technology into a Modern Office Environment

THE PROBLEM:

In 2024 Design AV Europe were approached to assist with the Audio Visual and Technology Installation refitting of a modern and bright office setting within the heart of Cheltenham. The main challenge was to incorporate a Microsoft Teams Room within a stylish independent meeting room with direct natural daylight, high ceilings and the option for external visitors to bring their own devices (BYOD).

THE SOLUTION:

Design AV Europe began by recommending a 4K UHD commercial grade display to not only offer the brightness required for the room, but also to offer a suitable warranty for the device’s usage. Next was the Yealink system for the Microsoft Teams solution; inclusive of a 4K PTZ Camera, the Mini PC required to run the system, a touchscreen con-troller located on the desk, standalone wireless display transmitter, wall mounted soundbar and 2 wireless mics allowing flexibility on room capacity and usage.

THE RESULT:

A perfectly sized and positioned solution secured to the main wall with complete hidden cable management complimented the modern design of the office whilst ensuring client meetings were of high quality not only when in person but also when remote based, utilising the 4K UHD display and 4K PTZ Camera system.

The solution provided needed to flexible as both a Teams meeting room and a BYOD setup. The Yealink hard-ware has allowed us to provide this along with a simple yet effective user experience for both options.
